Slice the bread into cubes and set aside. Dice the apples and add them to a bowl with lemon juice. Toss the seasoning and brown sugar with the apples. Set aside. In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, whipping cream, vanilla extract, and seasoning.
Arrange half of the cubed bread in a 9 x 11 baking pan. Spread half the cubed apples over the bread. Sprinkle half the diced bacon over the apple pieces. Pour half of the egg mixture over the ingredients and sprinkle seasoning over the top.
Repeat layering the remaining cubed bread, apples, bacon and egg mixture in the baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining Cinnamon seasoning over the top of the breakfast casserole. Allow the casserole to sit for 10 minutes before baking.
Bake 375°F for 35 to 45 minutes or until the custard has set. See recipe notes for more information on baking times.
Remove the breakfast
casserole from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature before serving.
