  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water mixed with 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets

  • Place all the ingredients except the broccoli into a 6 quart crock pot.
  • Cook on high for 3 hours.
  • After 3 hours add the broccoli to the crock pot and toss to cover with sauce.
  • Cook another hour on high until the broccoli is cooked but still crisp.
  • Serve over a bed of rice.
