Pressure  Cooker London Broil  with  homemade  gravy


1 tbs. butter 3 lb. London Broil 1 ½ c water 2 Lipton Onion Soup Mix 2 lbs. red potatoes 4 large carrots 1 tbs. minced garlic 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt 1 bay leaf rosemary 1 tbs. corn starch   1 tbs. of cool water (gravy thickener)

Dissolve the onion soup in water


Brown the roast in a skillet and then add it to the pressure cooker.  I like to use a silicone rack.

Begin layering the ingredients. Add the potatoes and the minced garlic.


Add sliced carrots, herbs and spices.

Secure the lid and press manual. Set the time and pressure cook.

Carefully open the lid.

Remove the vegetables from the pressure cooker. Lift the roast and transfer to a serving platter.

Add the cornstarch and water to the drippings. Change the settings to the sauté setting. Cook until the gravy has thickened.

Serve the tender beef with the vegetables and gravy.
