INGREDIENTS

Beef Marrow Bones Carrots Celery Onion Cloves Of Garlic Bay Leaves Sea Salt Peppercorns Fresh Parsley

Blanch the beef bones in a large stockpot of boiling water for 15 minutes, then rinse them off to remove any residue. Peel and trim the vegetables. We recommend roasting the bones and vegetables in a preheated oven at 425°F. degrees for  45 minutes.

Boil the bones in a large pot of water for 15 minutes. Transfer the beef bones to a colander and rinse well with cold water to remove any foamy bits that may be stuck to the bones. Place bones and vegetables on a prepared baking sheet in a single layer and bake at 425°F for 45 minutes.

Transfer the bones and vegetables to the inner pot of your 8-quart pressure cooker. Add a handful of fresh parsley, bay leaves, peppercorns, and salt. Add 10 cups of water, being careful to not overfill the pot. Lock the lid in place, set the pressure cooking time to 120 minutes.

Allow the pressure cooker to naturally release steam for 30 minutes. Strain the broth to remove any bits. Refrigerate the broth overnight and skim off any solidified fat the next day. Transfer the bone broth to jars and store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks or freeze it for up to six months.
