Fettuccine Noodles Fresh Broccoli Unsalted Butter Minced Garlic All-Purpose Flour Heavy Cream Finely Grated Parmesan Salt And Ground Black Pepper Dried Red Pepper Flakes Fresh Parsley

Blanch the fresh broccoli if using. Thaw and drain well if using frozen broccoli. Boil the pasta following the directions on the box. Drain and rinse well. Drain again and set aside until needed.


Saute garlic in melted butter for one minute. Add the flour to the skillet and whisk it into the butter and garlic until a thick roux forms. Whisk while cooking for 2-3 minutes. Slowly add cream. Add the Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Whisk until cheese has melted completely.

Add the spices to the skillet. Whisk. Simmer the sauce until it is thick. Stir in the broccoli pieces. Remove from heat and add the cooked pasta to the pan in portions. Repeat until all of the pasta has been added to the skillet.

Serve right from the skillet or transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with more shredded Parmesan cheese, minced parsley and red pepper flakes and serve with crusty garlic bread and a salad.
