BISSELL CleanView Vacuum Review
I don’t know why but I seem to go through vacuums frequently. Or the vacuum I am using is not working as well as I need.
I recently had the opportunity to review the new BISSELL CleanView Vacuum with OnePass Technology. I jumped at the chance. My current vacuum is just not picking up the way it used to and it is getting clogged up. I find myself having to repeatedly go over the same area to pick up all the surface dirt.
Our bedrooms are carpeted and we have a small area rug in the living room. I decided to test out the new BISSELL CleanView Vacuum with One Pass Technology in my bedroom. I quit vacuuming in there when I knew I would be getting the BISSELL to try out.
My bedroom carpet is pretty clean considering the fact that my three grand daughters spend a lot of time over here. I try to keep them out of my bedroom as much as possible and I do pick up the larger pieces of random junk that ends up on the floor. You can see some small pieces paper to the left of the photo and yes that is the tip of a cat tail you see.
Here is my room from another angle.
Like I mentioned I quit vacuuming a couple of weeks ago and quit picking the stuff up off the carpet so I could see how well the BISSELL CleanView Vacuum would handle the mess.
On the surface my carpet looks pretty clean.
Here is the p product info from BISSELL.

As I unpacked the vacuum from the box I silently groaned when I realized that I of course would have to attach a few pieces. The handle needed to be put in place and secured with two long screws. It went together very easily. I’ve had new vacuums before where it was almost impossible for me to slide the handle in and snap it in place. The BISSELL ClearView handle assembly went smoothly once I found a screw driver.
The attachments went into place on the vacuum and I was good to go. I plugged it in and turned it on. The on and off switch is located on the left side of the vacuum and a little lower then the midway point on the vacuum. Most of the vacuums I have used in the past have had an on and off switch that is on the bottom of the vacuum and is turned on and off with your foot. I really don’t like the placement of the on and off switch. It will take some getting used to.
I was very impressed with the OnePass Technology. It is really one pass of the vacuum and it picked everything up from the surface of the rug. It only took about five minutes and I had the entire bedroom carpet vacuumed.
Emptying the canister is so easy with the Bottom Easy Empty™ Dirt Cup . On all other vacuums I have used you would remove the canister, open the lid, remove or lift up the filter and turn the canister upside down to empty it. With the Bottom Easy Empty Dirt Cup you don’t have to go through all that. You remove the canister and the bottom opens up and the dirt falls out. What I love about this feature is that I don’t get my hands covered in dust and dirt when emptying the BISSELL ClearView dirt cup.
So far so good. I am impressed with this vacuum. It is light weight, it does pick up all the surface dirt with one pass cutting out the time it takes to vacuum an entire room.
I decided to do a little test. I wanted to really test out the one pass technology. I went and found some ribbon Easter grass and cut it up into small pieces. I then scattered it on an area of the rug.
Then I turned on the vacuum.
And made one pass with the vacuum.
And the BISSELL CleanView picked up all the ribbon grass in the path of the vacuum.
It picked up every piece. The OnePass Technology really works. I raved about the vacuum to my mother in-law and I think I have convinced her to buy one for herself.
