Instant Pot Beef Tips and Gravy

INGREDIENTS

Butter | Beef Stew Meat Onion | Minced Garlic Salt | Black Pepper  Bay Leaf Beef Stock Cornstarch

– Prepare  the Funfetti Cake & Cupcake mix as directed on the package adding  the ½ teaspoon to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. – Fill cupcake papers ¾ full.

SAUTE

Use the sauté setting and sauté the diced onion in butter until translucent. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Cancel the sauté setting. Add the stew meat, salt, pepper, and bay leaf, and beef broth to the Instant Pot.

Twist the lid on and turn the pressure valve to the sealing position. Press the manual button and set the pressure-cooking time to 15 minutes. Once finished pressure cooking, do a quick release. Carefully open the lid.

COOK

Remove and discard the bay leave. Mix the cornstarch and water together until dissolved and mix into the pot. Press the sauté button again and bring to a boil, occasionally stirring until the gravy has thickened.

THICKEN

Serve the beef tips and gravy garnished with parsley for a fresh touch. Serve with mashed potatoes, cooked wide noodles and your choice of sides. You can also serve on toasted bread as an open-faced sandwich.
