Dip into Dinner with a fun Family Game Night with Hasbro, Tyson , Ore-Ida and Heinz Ketchup.

For a fun-filled evening of #DipDipHooray

Yesterday the family and I had a chance to hang out together and just relax for a bit. We fixed a quick meal of Tyson chicken nuggets, some Ore-Ida french fries, a salad with homemade ranch dressing and of course we were dipping with Heinz Ketchup.

The adults added some hot sauce to our Tyson Breast Tenderloin for a hot and spicy kick.

After the past week we had we needed some relaxation. Six out of the eight of my very close family have been down with a viral infection. While hacking our heads off and running fevers the adults in the family were trying to keep everyone from panicking while preparing for Tropical Storm Isaac who was barreling his unwelcome way straight towards us.

Unless you have ever lived in a hurricane prone area, evacuated fled in a panic from your home ,  rode out a hurricane or tropical storm, or saw the aftermath of a devastating storm first hand like I have you have no idea the kind of fear that races through you when you see that projected path cone of a storm heading your way.

Luckily it didn’t hit my area this time and we only had some torrential downpours and wind.

The hurricane season is in full force. This is the most active time of the year. It looks like we may have a replay of 2005 when we had storm after storm coming and hitting our area. I hope not!!

While I was out shopping for hurricane supplies at Wal-Mart I picked up some Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ore-Ida french fries, Heinz Ketchup and the Yahtzee game for our Family Game Night.

Our plans for the night were to have a quick dinner of chicken nuggets and fries then play a few games of Yahtzee before my granddaughter Hailey had to get ready for bed because it was a school night.

We decided to get the Yahtzee game so while we were playing Hailey could practice her counting skills using the dice. Actually the Yahtzee game not ony helped her with her counting skills but she also practiced her letter and number writing skills as she filled in the score sheet while we played.

My youngest granddaughter Addison was having fun dipping her fries in her ketchup.

Once everyone was done with dinner we cleaned up the table and got ready to play some Yahtzee.

The dice where not being nice to me!  Megan was the winner and she didn’t let the rest of us forget it all night!

We all had a great time.

After we were done playing I checked out the website and entered the daily sweepstakes for my chance to win a $1000 Hasbro Game Night Grand Prize of top-rated board games and dinnertime favorites from Heinz® Ketchup, Ore-Ida® French Fries, & Tyson® Chicken Nuggets.

You can enter the sweepstakes at the DipToPlay website. To read all the sweepstakes rules here.

Once I entered the sweepstakes then I went and entered all the upc codes off the Heinz Ketchup, Ore Ida fry bag and the Tyson chicken nugget bag  to unlock and Play the Game of the Day. I love the food plates with sections! The picture of the kids all writing is a great picture. Do I see Connect 4 in your buggy too? I want to add that game to our collection soon!

I hadn’t even thought of it, but I guess my girls are old enough to play Yahtzee now! We’ll have to give that a shot because I’m sure we’ve inherited my old Yahtzee game from my folks!
