TAYE DIGGS JOINS THE FIGHT AGAINST CHILDHOOD HUNGER
FOR THIRD ANNUAL SHARE BREAKFAST™ PROGRAM
Kellogg’s® and Action for Healthy Kids® Share One
Million Breakfasts* to Help Bring Out
Kids’ Full Potential
Did you know 1 in 5 kids may go without breakfast every day?
You know what that means? If your son or daughter has five friends odds are one of them have gone to school hungry.
That is a stagger statistic.
If childhood hunger is a cause you are passionate about Kellog has made it easy to help feed a million children breakfast with the #ShareBreakfast Campaign.
Along with in-school breakfast partner Action For Healthy Kids®,
Kellogg’s and Diggs are making it their mission to show families how a
wholesome breakfast can help kids reach their full potential every
day. Kids who eat breakfast have more energy and focus for learning1,
yet nearly one in five children across our communities go without
breakfast.2 That’s why Kellogg’s and Diggs are leading the charge to
help end childhood hunger and are rallying families across the U.S. to
help provide breakfast for kids in need.
Mom always said breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Children who are hungry when they go to school can’t concentrate as well as children who have eaten a healthy breakfast before going to school.
Hunger is a big issue in my area. Our schools offer free or reduced breakfast and lunch during the school week.
They also offer a Summer Food Service Program for Children under the age of 18 during summer break.
