Well it has been a little over four weeks since my daughter started using the Tria blue light acne treatment and I figured it was time for an update.
First if you don’t know what the Tria Blue Light is…
Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light is a revolutionary, FDA-cleared hand-held device for at-home use that delivers the same therapeutic power of blue light used by dermatologists to treat breakouts deep within the skin.
My daughter, like most teens her age suffer from breakouts. Sometimes they are worse than others.
During the time she has been using the blue light treatment I have noticed some improvements in her skin in certain areas. But during a certain time of the month there are areas of her face that break out worse than others. During that time I really can’t tell a difference in her skin in those areas. I didn’t expect this treatment to get rid of acne all the way.
There probably isn’t a treatment out there that can completely clear up acne breakouts due to hormones.
Here she is. You might remember seeing a picture or two almost just like this on my blog already. She doesn’t like her picture being taken. I have many, many more pictures just like this.
She’ll continue to use the Tria System to help with the areas that it is working on.
Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Tria and received aTria Skin Perfecting Blue Light product sample to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
