I love hosting a cookie exchange during the holiday season with my friends and family. I’ve also been known to pack up boxes of homemade holiday goodies and share them with unsuspecting neighbors who might not have a baker in the house.

The best part of a cookie exchange is that you only have to bake a couple of different cookie recipes but you get to come home with a large assortment of cookies to enjoy.

This year I decided to also host a virtual cookie recipe exchange here on my blog.

I’ll still be baking goodies for my friends and family but by also hosting a virtual cookie recipe exchange we can bring together a big list of recipes that you or I might try during this holiday baking season.

So how does a virtual cookie exchange work? It’s really pretty simple.

Visit my blog between December 2ndand December 12th at 11:59 pm. Add a recipe link with a photo in the linky from your blog of a cookie recipe you have made and posted to your blog.

It doesn’t have to be a new recipe just one that is posted to your blog.

If your not a blogger you may leave a recipe in the comments.

I am so happy to be able to offer some great prizes for my first Virtual Cookie Recipe Exchange!
The wonderful folks at King Arthur Flour have donated a cookie prize pack for one lucky winner. The prize pack will include

a package of King Arthur Flour Vanilla Sugar Cookie Mix

a package of King Arthur Flour White Icing Mix

Aren’t these cookies just darling?

lass=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-family: Georgia, ‘Times New Roman’, serif;”>King Arthur Flour is running a great cookie contest that you may be interested in checking out. They have some great prizes up for grabs!

The cookies and the prizes look great! I recommended your cookie recipe swap on my blog today.

I hope there is still room for me to add a cookie recipe tomorrow!

    I also tweeted it! @thewaybyelle

What a fun idea! Unfortunately I can't enter to win any of the prizes because I'm not a U.S. resident. But I still would like to share my holiday cookie with you.

Tasty Spice Nuts, typical Dutch cookie, with flavours that go really well this time of year.

Good luck to all of the contestants! Love to browse through all the recipes, will have to try some!
